Today I uploaded a few of the new MT4 plugins and a couple of old ones that seem to work fine. I managed to tweak the templates to add a [bookmark button](http://www.addthis.com/), and the copyright notice in the footer.
So far, here’s the list of plugins that I have installed:
- Better File Uploader 2.2
- Blog Copyright
- Bookmarks
- Breadcrumbs
- Comment Subscribe
- MT Akismet
- MT AutoBan
- My Blogs
- Plugin Network
- ReCaptcha
- Snip-It
- Template Shelf
- Visitor Stats
Included are some very useful tools that I wouldn’t be without, e.g. Bookmarks, Snip-It and Template Shelf. Visitor Stats adds itself to the admin dashboard for your blog and a graph appears for visitor visits and views. Plugin Network provides links to the latest plugins and tools on the admin dashboard. Snip-It and Template Shelf are available on the sidebar on the template editing screen.
Breadcrumbs adds navigation links at the top of each screen that helps show you where you are in the interface, similar to previous versions of MT. My Blogs provides a list of all blogs in the installation with a few quick links. Bookmarks adds a “Bookmarks” menu to Movable Type 4.0’s menuing
system. In this menu you can place links to all of your favorite and
most frequently accessed pages within the application.
Comment Subscribe allows a user to check a box when posting a comment, and they will receive emails
every time someone else posts a comment on the same entry. Each email
will include a link which the user can use to unsubscribe. Anyone who is used to using MT-Notifier will notice the similarities, but this plugin is free.
Better File Uploader replaces and improves upon the Movable Type file upload tool. This version of the plugin is still in the beta stages and version 2.2 is compatible with MT4 only. It adds basic support for assets in the same way that the default uploader of MT4 does, but with it you can do so much more.
