I updated my blog to the latest MT release (I think we're up to version 4.15b5b) and added a couple of new plugins. FCKeditor is one I'm particularly excited about because of all the added features available. Text colour, Background colour, Smilies 
, strikethrough, the ability to insert flash objects, etc, etc. Now I've gone to a full-size editing window and I don't know how to get back to the entry screen. We live and learn. (ah!, it's just the click of a button).
Another plugin I installed tonight, Cleansweep 1.1, wouldn't work properly and I'm disappointed but I've left all the details on the author's site so I'm hoping to be able to sort it out. Plugin developers need your feedback to improve their plugins, so if you happen to install something that doesn't work right, tell them. Don't just delete it again and forget about it. I've had quite a few developers scratching their heads over some of my problems, but we've usually worked it out, and they're happy to help out.
Update: I've
now noticed (2 days later) that Cleansweep is working properly. The
instructions said to restart apache, which I wasn't able to do
manually, but it seems the host has, and now the plugin is working
properly. I guess I was a little hasty with my comments.
